Chelsea Handler

Posted on

I read a lot and I have my ups and down with which genre I like. I can go a year with only reading crime and horror, and then get really sick of it and move over to comedy. Those two seem to be the only two genres I read actually.

I think I just finished my comedy genre year with the three Chelsea Handler books.

Her first one is pretty self-explanatory:

It’s a listing of her one-night stands in her twenties in a very very funny way. You feel like you get to know her pretty well, especially if you read all of her books in order.

There are certain parts in her book that make you (at least me) laugh out loud, which is job well done by her. Not many books can do that. I mean, tons of books are funny, but how often do you actually laugh out loud? Another good book!

Her last one so far (there’s one more coming out soon) is sadly her least funny one to me.

The quick explanation on the back isn’t really true as to what she actually shares in this one. Don’t get me wrong; she’s a very funny woman and this book is hilarious as well. It’s just not as awesome as the other two.

If you need some light entertainment while traveling or if you find yourself bored easily, then you should definitely get these books and have them close by.

I can’t wait for her new tv-show to come out! It’s based on “Are you there, vodka? It’s me, Chelsea” and her younger self is being played by Laura Prepon from “That 70’s show”.

Hun blir spilt at Laura Prepon som er hun høye i “That 70’s show”. :)
